Safari excursion from Punta Cana

We will pick you up at your hotel aboard our trucks to start the safari through the interior of the Dominican Republic. 
We will visit a kindergarten to learn how children study and what daily life is like in a small rural town. Next, we will go to a sugar cane, cocoa and coffee plantation. These are the most extensive crops in the country and are of great economic importance. 
Our tour will continue in the city of Higüey, where we will discover the cathedral basilica of Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia. This church with its peculiar architecture is one of the most visited Catholic temples in the Caribbean. 
We will continue the safari entering the mountains of the interior of the Dominican Republic. We will visit the local farms, where their workers will tell us about their customs and show us their homes. Before leaving, we will participate in a Dominican cocoa and coffee tasting in a natural environment of great beauty.

In the next stage of the excursion we will visit the Valencia Ranch. In this hacienda we will observe how handicrafts are made and we will take a pleasant walk to 
horse through the ranch grounds. We will recover our strength with a delicious lunch 
buffet where you can try meat, fish and various typical dishes. 
We will end the tour discovering Macao beach. This little paradise will be the ideal place to relax in a stop of approximately 20 minutes before heading back to the hotel.

If you have less time, you can choose to do a half-day safari. This 4-hour option does not include the buffet lunch, the horseback ride or the visit to Macao beach.
